I answer more planning calls than walking ones these days, mostly from people trying to decide what to eat before booking a longer session with someone else. I know the stalls at Mercado Victoria well enough to sketch a short route by dish rather than by aisle, and I send that list over after we talk. On video calls I keep my camera off more than most guides, since the conversation matters more than the background for this kind of session. What I like is hearing exactly what someone is nervous about, usually spice or portion size, and answering that directly instead of guessing.
