I moved to Oxford from Porto for a masters and ended up staying because of the Covered Market, oddly enough, more than the colleges. My sessions usually run early, before the market fills with shoppers, so the camera can catch the butchers and grocers actually setting up their counters. I like explaining how the market has kept the same Georgian layout since it opened, something most visitors walk straight past without noticing. My own background means I often compare Oxford's food traditions with what I grew up with, which visitors seem to enjoy more than a straight history lesson.
