I studied classical archaeology and the Ancient Theatre of Philippopolis is still the site I most enjoy explaining, since a working Roman theatre from the first century still hosts concerts nearly two thousand years after it was built. On camera I keep back far enough to take in the full curve of the seating before moving closer to the stage area. I keep a formal, detailed pace and welcome specific questions about how the theatre survived long enough to be restored. Video suits a curved amphitheatre particularly well, since the camera can hold the whole shape in frame in a way a single photograph rarely manages.
