I worked briefly at a rooftop bar in the city centre, which is how I first learned the exact angle where the whole Upper and Lower Town line up together. On camera I take the lift up to the observation deck near dusk and explain how the two halves of the city, split by history rather than geography, still read as one skyline from above. On planning calls I help people put a full day together across both levels of the city, since the split confuses a lot of first-time visitors. My calls run at a relaxed pace and I keep the planning simple.
