Five Wells Square is a two-minute walk from where I grew up, and I used to be told off as a child for leaning too far over the wellheads to look down. Now I explain on camera how the square once stored the city's rainwater behind its own set of walls. From there I usually move to St Simeon's church, where a silver sarcophagus holds relics that draw a surprising number of questions every single session. My German comes from university rather than family, but it gets regular use here. I keep things factual and let people ask what they actually want to know.
