I grew up in Mouraria before it had a name most visitors recognised, in a building close enough to Graca that both neighbourhoods felt like the same childhood. On camera I move between the two, showing Graca's viewpoints first and then dropping down into Mouraria's narrower, more mixed streets, since together they tell a fuller story of Lisbon than either alone. I keep my sessions unhurried at the viewpoints, since the view changes with every passing cloud. Six years of guiding later, I still think this stretch of the city gets less attention than it deserves.
