Jonathan Rieger

I trained in horticulture and now spend most of my time in the Gärtnerstadt, a market gardening district still farmed within the city rather than built over long ago. On camera I walk between plots still worked by families who have farmed the same land for generations, explaining what makes this quarter unusual for a city of Bamberg's size. My second session moves to Hain Park along the river, a much quieter green space by comparison. I keep an easy, practical pace and enjoy explaining what is actually growing at any given time of year.
