About Jordi
Former sommelier. I spent eleven years on the floor of restaurants in the Eixample and two harvests in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia before I switched to guiding in 2012. On the wine side I keep it practical. You will learn to read a cava label and why a Brut Nature is not automatically better. On the mountain side I am less of an expert and more of a regular. I have walked from the monastery to Sant Jeroni maybe two hundred times and I know exactly where the path gets slippery after rain. Catalan, Spanish, English, and decent German from a year working in Stuttgart. I do not do hotel pickups before 8:00. Today my sessions are live video walks through Barcelona; you join from home, and I answer whatever you ask as we go.
