I studied archaeology and spent two summers on the dig beside Sant Feliu, so I know which stones in that tower are original and which were rebuilt after the lightning took the spire. On camera I like to get close to the carved capitals in the Arab Baths, where the light through the oculus changes the room by the hour. Early mornings in Devesa Park are my quiet favourite, when the plane trees are still wet and the town has not woken up yet. I keep the phone at eye level and move slowly between details, because half of what makes Girona interesting is easy to miss if you rush.
