Jorunn Skaar

I trained in art history with a focus on Edvard Grieg, so my two sessions sit at opposite ends of Bergen's cultural life. The first walks the plaza between the KODE museum buildings around the lake, describing what each one currently holds without going inside any of them. The second heads out to Troldhaugen, Grieg's villa above the fjord, filmed from the garden rather than the rooms, where I talk through the composer's life and the view he worked beside. On camera I try to connect the two sessions, since Bergen's musical and artistic history usually gets treated as separate stories.
