I have worked evenings around the harbour bars near the Sea Organ for years before I ever picked up a camera for this, so I know which corners actually get busy and which only look that way in photos. On camera I walk the promenade once it lights up for the evening, and on a separate call I help people plan which of the nearby islands actually suit the time they have. I keep the tone direct rather than oversell anything, since a wasted island day costs more than it looks. Six years of doing both sides of this job keeps me fairly grounded about it.
