I moved to Plagwitz when the canal side was still mostly empty warehouses, so I have watched the district change into its current mix of studios, bars and canal paths over several years. On camera I like showing both sides of that change, the quiet daytime towpath and the same streets once the bars open in the evening. I keep a relaxed pace and enjoy questions about how a former industrial district actually gets reused rather than simply redeveloped. Video suits this area particularly well, since the change in light and mood from afternoon to evening says more than I could describe.
