Julia Wenzel

I studied art history in the Kunstareal itself, surrounded by three major museums within a few minutes' walk of each other. On camera I stay outside their grand facades, since the buildings alone say a great deal about how differently each century wanted art to be housed. My second session moves through the district's street art, tucked into courtyards between the museums, where younger artists have quietly claimed the walls the older institutions never touch. I keep a measured pace and welcome detailed questions, since most of what interests me here sits in the contrast between old and new.
