Kalle Nieminen

I have lived in Kallio since university and still work behind a bar there most weekends, which is probably why I explain the district's evenings more honestly than a typical guide might. On camera I walk the streets showing how a former working-class district turned into the city's densest strip of bars without losing its older housing blocks. I point out buildings that have barely changed while everything at street level around them shifted completely. I keep the tone informal and treat the call like showing a friend the neighbourhood I actually live in.
