I researched Nonnberg Abbey for a university project on its role as one of the oldest continuously running religious houses north of the Alps, and I still find the subject genuinely interesting rather than routine. On camera I stay outside the abbey walls, since the community inside keeps its own quiet routine, and I explain the building's long history from the street below. I keep my sessions respectful of that quiet, speaking softly rather than treating the site as a backdrop. I answer questions on the abbey's history in detail, since that is the part I actually researched properly.
