Kristýna Marešová

I studied Jewish history at university and now guide sessions through Josefov, the old Jewish Quarter, rather than teach from a classroom. My sessions cover the Old Jewish Cemetery and its tightly layered gravestones, along with the synagogues that survived the neighbourhood's redevelopment a century ago. I like explaining the history plainly and respectfully rather than rushing past difficult periods. My pace is measured, and I always make proper room for questions afterwards.
