I trained as a muralist for a few years before guiding became my main work, so Lavapiés's street art is where I still feel most useful on camera. On a separate session I walk Mercado de Antón Martín and the old cinema building beside it, since the neighbourhood's food and its architecture are hard to separate for me at this point. I point out which murals are newer and which have survived years of repainting around them. I keep the pace slow enough that you can actually read a wall rather than just glance at it.
