Lieke Bos

I guide two sessions across the water from the old centre, a film museum reached by ferry and a set of modern harbour islands built where ships once docked. I like the contrast between crossing on a free ferry and arriving somewhere that looks nothing like the postcard image of the city. On camera I hold on the modern architecture long enough for its shapes to register, since it rewards a proper look rather than a quick pan. I studied architecture and enjoy explaining buildings that most short visits never reach.
