I have lived just off Avenyn for years and walk the boulevard most days regardless of whether I am working, so I know which cafes change their windows with the seasons. My main session follows the avenue from Götaplatsen down toward the canal, explaining how the street was planned as Gothenburg's grand entrance rather than growing naturally. A second, calmer session circles part of Slottsskogen, the large park nearby, where a seal pond and grazing animals sit inside an otherwise ordinary city park. I keep both sessions unhurried, since neither street nor park rewards being rushed through on a screen.
