Luca Galli

I grew up in Bellagio, where my parents ran a small hotel. That means I spent every summer carrying suitcases up stone steps and every winter looking at an empty lake. I worked as a hiking leader in the Grigne mountains above the lake for six years, so on some days I add a short walk to a viewpoint above Varenna. The German comes from the hotel guests. It is a wall with a gate. There is more interesting stuff on the lake, and I would rather show you that.
