I have sailed Roskilde Fjord since childhood, so guiding by video along its shoreline still feels more like a habit than a job. On camera I follow the fjord's edge first, explaining how its shallow, sheltered water shaped centuries of Viking-era shipping before the modern harbour existed. I then walk into Boserup Forest nearby, pointing out how the woodland runs almost to the waterline in places. I keep my pace slow along both the water and the trees, since the light changes quickly this close to a fjord. Video guiding here shows the landscape that explains the town's whole history.
