Magnús Ólafsson

I worked as a scenic painter before I started guiding, so colour and light are what I notice first on a Reykjavik street. My sessions on the rainbow street and Harpa's glass facade come from that eye, showing how each surface changes completely depending on the time of day. Six years of guiding on video has taught me to shoot at the right hour rather than whenever is convenient, since the light here does most of the work. I answer questions live as they come and always leave room for people to ask about a detail I might otherwise rush past.
