Manon Chauveau

I worked in the shopping arcade myself for two years before I started guiding, so I know which panes of glass overhead still hold their original ironwork and which have been replaced. On camera I move slowly along the upper level first, since most visitors never look up past the shop signs at street level. I plan each call for the hour when light comes straight down through the roof rather than sideways through the windows. Regulars ask me to compare the arcade to newer shopping streets, which I am always glad to do.
