About Marc
A former railway station now holds one of the world's great Impressionist collections, and I never tire of explaining how that building came to house it. I worked as a gallery assistant before guiding, and the switch to video suited me better than I expected. On camera I like framing a single canvas against its original frame rather than the whole wall around it. English and French both work well for my sessions. I keep things warm and conversational rather than formal, since most questions about Impressionism come from genuine curiosity rather than expertise.
