I read history at the university here, and Piazza Maggiore is where most of my sessions open, camera facing the unfinished brick facade of San Petronio so people can see exactly how much marble cladding it never received. From there I move to the Fontana di Nettuno just around the corner, angling low so the bronze figures catch the light properly on screen. I have learned that holding a single shot longer than feels natural works better on video than cutting between angles, since it gives people time to actually read a building instead of glimpsing it. I answer questions as they come rather than saving them for the end.
