I studied archaeology here and spent three years cataloguing finds before I thought about guiding at all, so I still notice details in the museum's courtyard that most people walk straight past. On camera I stay outside near the entrance steps and describe the Minoan frescoes and gold seals from Knossos gallery by gallery from memory, since filming inside is not allowed. I prefer pausing on a single object at a time rather than rushing through a list, because a fresco explained slowly makes more sense than one glimpsed quickly. I take questions in the order they arrive.
