I have taught at the university part time for years and still live in the student quarter, so I see Salamanca's evenings from inside the crowd rather than as a visitor passing through. On camera I walk the streets around the university once classes end for the day, pointing out which bars have been student fixtures for decades and which cater more to a passing crowd. I know the rhythm of term time versus the quieter summer months, and I say plainly when the city looks completely different. I keep the tone relaxed and honest about what each spot is actually like.
