I split my time between hosting live video walks and shorter planning calls, and I like the calls more than I expected to when I started. A short call lets me answer specific questions properly instead of rushing past them during a walk, and I use it to explain things like the city's carnival traditions, which are hard to show well on camera outside of carnival season. When I do walk somewhere live, I favour the quieter Jekerkwartier quarter over the busiest squares. I speak German comfortably, which helps with visitors from just across the nearby border.
