I studied ethnography and the Village Museum is still the site I most enjoy walking, since its collection of traditional rural buildings, moved here from across Romania, sits inside a city park most visitors never expect to hold anything like it. On camera I move between a few of the wooden houses, describing the regions they came from. I keep a brief, practical pace and take questions as they come rather than saving them for the end. Video suits an open-air museum well, since the camera can move between buildings faster than a guided group usually manages.
