Marjan Hill is where I go running most mornings, so I know exactly which of its viewpoints actually earns the climb and which ones are only good in photographs. On camera I walk the forested paths up to the best lookout, then on a separate call I help people work out which of Split's beaches and nearby islands are worth their limited time. I am fairly blunt about which options are overrated, which some people appreciate more than others. Six years of doing this both on foot and on a call keeps the two sides of the job usefully different.
