I still remember my first crossing from Plaza Nueva up into the Albaicín, confused about which turn to take, so I now walk newcomers through that same route without letting them get lost the way I did. On camera I keep the phone at a walking pace, pointing out the landmarks that actually mark the turns rather than assuming anyone already knows them. Further up, I sometimes pause where a garden wall lets a private carmen's greenery spill over into public view, explaining what these enclosed gardens usually hold inside. I keep the tone welcoming, since this route is often someone's first steps into the old quarter.
