I worked in restaurant kitchens around Aker Brygge before training as a guide, so I know the waterfront's food history better than most of its newer menus. On camera I walk the redeveloped shipyard quay, explaining how a working harbour became a strip of restaurants over about two decades. On a shorter call I talk through Mathallen, the indoor food hall in Vulkan, stall by stall, describing what is being sold rather than tasting anything myself on screen. I like video guiding for food because it lets me slow down on one stall instead of drifting past it.
