I studied sculpture, so I focus my sessions on the Bargello's exterior, a former medieval prison turned into one of the city's more overlooked museums. I explain its history as a place of punishment before describing, from outside, some of the early Donatello works held inside that filming rules do not let me show directly. I keep my camera on the fortress-like facade and courtyard entrance, since the building's own history is dramatic enough on its own. My sessions run shorter than most, matching the subject.
