Matthias Gruber

I studied medieval history in Regensburg and still find the Stone Bridge the best place in the city to explain how much older this town is than most visitors expect. On camera I hold on the bridge's worn stone arches, pointing out repairs made across eight centuries of flood and river ice. My second session moves onto the bridge itself at dusk, when the cathedral's towers catch the last light behind it. I keep a steady, unhurried pace and welcome detailed questions about the engineering as much as the history.
