Megan Fairclough

Salford Quays is where I run most of my calls, since I used to work in one of the studios there and still know which angles catch the water best at different times of day. I like pointing out how quickly the docks changed from working shipyards into the buildings you see now, because the change is more recent than most viewers guess. I moved to Manchester for a media job and started guiding on the side once I realised how much I enjoyed explaining the area. My calls tend to run a little longer than planned, in a good way.
