Mei-Ling Zhou

I am finishing a doctorate in art history and I guide on the side, mostly around King's College Chapel and the Fitzwilliam Museum, where I spend a good part of my research life anyway. On a call I like to hold the phone steady on the chapel's fan vaulting for a long moment before I say anything, because most viewers need a few seconds just to take in the scale of it. Visitors often ask how student life here compares with what films show them, which I am glad to answer honestly. I keep sessions focused on one or two buildings rather than a long list.
