I have lived in the old town's narrow lanes for years, so Niederdorf's evening crowd feels like part of my own street rather than a destination. On camera I follow the lane as bars and restaurants fill up after dark, then cross into a more multicultural district known for a very different, later kind of evening. I explain how differently the two areas built their reputations despite sitting fairly close together. I keep my pace relaxed and enjoy questions about either side of the city's nightlife.
