Melis Öz

I spend most summers on Kınalıada, the smallest of the inhabited Princes' Islands, in a family house that has been there for three generations. I trained as a guide to show this island specifically, since almost every tour that reaches the islands goes straight to Büyükada and skips the quieter ones entirely. On camera I like keeping the pace slow, since the island itself moves slowly without cars on its streets. I answer most questions about what daily life here is actually like outside the summer season.
