Melis Türk

I grew up in Göreme and spent my childhood exploring the valleys before most of them had marked paths. On camera I like showing the painted churches from the courtyard of the open air museum, since the frescoes themselves are best explained rather than filmed directly. I also guide sessions through Pigeon Valley at sunrise, when the light catches the rock in a way that changes completely by midday. I keep my sessions structured and fact based, since the landscape has a real geological story worth explaining properly.
