Merima Zukić

My family has run a small coffeehouse in Baščaršija for two generations, so Bosnian coffee culture is where most of my sessions naturally start. On camera I walk through a few of the old town's coffeehouses first, then on market mornings I show the stalls themselves as they open for the day. I am not a trained historian, just someone who grew up serving coffee to the same regulars for years. My Turkish comes from family on my father's side, which helps more often than I expected with certain visitors.
