I used to work as a verger at the cathedral before I started guiding, so the Se and the bone chapel behind Carmo church were part of my working days long before they became something I show on camera. I explain the chapel plainly, as a place built for reflection rather than shock, and I keep the camera slow and steady the whole way through out of respect for it. Up in the cathedral tower I focus on the view across the rooftops and the lagoon beyond rather than the climb itself. I choose my words carefully in both places, every time.
