I worked for years as a guide inside the Jeronimos Monastery before moving to independent video sessions, so Belem's riverside monuments are where I am most exact about dates and names. On camera I keep the pace slow at the monastery and the tower, since the Manueline stonework rewards a close look more than a quick pass. When people want a shorter session I take calls instead, answering questions about timing and the best hours to see the riverfront without the crowds.
