I have lived in Herceg Novi's old town my whole life, close enough to hear the clock tower bells most mornings. On camera I like starting at the stepped stairways between the coast road and the walls, since most visitors never realise how many terraces the town is actually built across. My grandfather kept a small boat in the harbour below Forte Mare, so I grew up hearing which merchants sailed in and out of that exact spot. I keep my calls unhurried on the climb toward Kanli Kula, and I answer questions about the town's Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian layers in as much detail as anyone wants.
