Milica Stanojević

I grew up in Zemun, close enough to Gardoš Tower that I climbed it more times as a child than I can count. On camera I show the tower and explain how it came to mark a border between two empires, then move across town to Vračar, where an entire neighbourhood grew up around a single domed building. I studied local history formally and keep a steady, detailed pace on both sessions. I welcome long stretches of questions, particularly about how these two very different parts of Belgrade came to look the way they do.
