I climb to the Rosengarten most weeks just for the view, even on days when the roses themselves are not the point. On camera I reach the top terrace as the light softens over the old town's rooftops, then explain how the garden was once a cemetery before it became a park. Once a year I also cover the onion market that takes over the old town's streets for a single November day, a tradition I grew up attending with my grandmother. I trained as a florist, so I notice plants most people would walk straight past. I keep both sessions unhurried.
