Nadja Hess

I studied art history with a focus on kinetic sculpture, so the mechanical fountain built by a Basel-born artist rarely gets old for me no matter how many times I have filmed it. On camera I show the fountain's moving parts up close, then walk to the museum nearby holding the world's oldest continuously public art collection. I explain what sits inside without being able to show it directly, since the collection itself stays behind museum walls. I keep my pace unhurried and enjoy questions about the artist's wider work.
