I grew up near the harbour and spent a few summers helping at a fish stall in the Mercado de la Bretxa, so I still know which counters get the best of the morning catch. My sessions move between the market and the harbour itself, since I think you cannot really understand one without seeing the other. On camera I ask sellers to explain their own produce wherever I can, since they know it better than I do. I keep my pace slow around the fish counters especially, since half of what is on display needs a proper explanation for anyone visiting.
