I have fished from Galata Bridge on and off since I was a teenager, mostly for the company rather than what actually gets caught. I trained as a guide to show this specific stretch of the bridge, since most visitors walk across it without ever noticing the fishermen lining both sides every single day. On camera I like standing among the rods rather than filming from a distance, so viewers get a sense of the bridge as a fishing spot rather than only a crossing. I answer most questions about what is actually biting that day.
