Niamh Casey

I trained in art history at UCD and worked as a gallery attendant for years before guiding full time, so Dublin's public art and its collections are where I am most useful on camera. I like showing the statues and doorways around Merrion Square and explaining the stories behind pieces that most people walk past without a second look. Five years of guiding on video has taught me to let a piece breathe on screen before I start explaining it. I always answer questions properly and send further reading afterwards for anyone who wants to go deeper.
