Niamh Kavanagh

Hiya, I am Niamh. I play the fiddle in a trad band that does sessions around Dublin four nights a week, and I grew up in a house in Cabra where somebody was always playing something. My granda was a piper from Clare, so I spent my summers at the fleadh learning tunes and staying up far too late. I also run a walk through Stoneybatter and the Phoenix Park, which is where I live and walk my dog. I speak English and Irish. I am chatty and easy going. I will not make you sing, but I cannot promise that nobody else will. My sessions now run live on video from Dublin: I carry the phone, you watch from wherever you are and ask anything.
